Even though you can’t tell it now, Chris didn’t always want to be a recruiter.  As a matter of fact, before April 2000, Chris didn’t even know what a recruiter was!  

He grew up in the ’70s on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., and spent summers in the small town of Tom’s River, NJ experiencing both elements of the city and small-town living.  In 1991, Chris moved to Boulder, CO where he attended the University of Colorado before leaving early to learn the amazingly stereotypical skills of selling cars in Boulder, CO.  After mastering the art of asking potential minivan customers if they were there for the “big, big sale”, he pivoted careers at the age of 23 and started cold-calling people for mortgage refinances.

In early 2000, Chris was looking to leave the mortgage industry and try to find his way into some form of “Corporate America”.  During his job search, he happened upon a staffing company called Adecco and at the ripe old age of 27, Chris became a recruiter with Adecco Recruiting.  

Chris found very quickly that he enjoyed working with client companies and helping them solve their hiring problems (and he was pretty good at it)!  By his second year, he was managing four recruiting teams, two client embedded teams, and making over 50 professional hires every month.  After a few years in general recruiting, Chris began specializing in hiring for the Wholesale Mortgage industry and built one of the largest Wholesale Mortgage recruiting firms in the Western US (until 2008).  When the Mortgage industry cratered in 2008, Chris pivoted began recruiting for new and different skills and transitioned to an internal corporate recruiting position.  Over the next twelve years, Chris would hold global recruiting leadership positions at SunTrust Bank, Southern Company, Cox Enterprises, Manhattan Associates, and North Highland Consulting.  

In early 2021, Chris decided to go back to his roots and began laying the groundwork to build a new consulting practice that became 360 Talent.
